ジェッソと化粧土を混ぜ合わせた下地材を板やパネルに刷毛と左官用のコテを使い厚塗りし、乾燥後に薄く水で溶いた青いアクリル絵具を何度か塗り重ね下地を作ります。絵の白い部分は下地材と同じジェッソと化粧土を混ぜ合わせた物、金や銀はアクリル絵具です。描き上がった後に全体に軽くヤスリがけをし、ニスを塗って仕上げます。

The base material, a mixture of gesso and slip, is applied thickly to the board or panel using a brush and plasterer's trowel. After drying, a thin layer of blue acrylic paint dissolved in water is applied several times to create the base. The white parts of the painting are a mixture of gesso and slip, the same as the base material, and the gold and silver are acrylic paints. After the painting is finished, the entire surface is lightly sanded and finished with a coat of varnish.
