直心とは、執着や分別を離れた浄らかな心のこと。これがいいとか、あれは嫌だとかいった執着分別を離れた「直心」で生きるとき、どこであってもその場に仏道の道場が現れるという意味の禅語。

In this piece, the artist wrote ‘直心是道場’ by glaze, which melted in the firing to form a pattern.

“直心" means a straight mind, free from attachment and discrimination. It is a Zen term meaning that when one lives with  “直心(Straight mind)", free from attachment and discrimination, such as "this is good" or "that is bad", the place of the Buddhist Way will appear wherever it is.
