《 蜘蛛の糸》とは
コロナ禍によって見出された様々な苦悩を振り払うため、写経のような気持ちで器に禅語を書いたシリーズ。筆に釉薬をつけて書くので、焼成の際には文字は溶けて流れる。
救いを求めて蜘蛛の糸にすがる人々を描いた、芥川龍之介の同名小説の世界観から着想を得た。

《 Spider Threads》.
A series of Zen words written on vessels with the feeling of sutra chanting, in order to shake off the various afflictions found by the Corona disaster. The writing is done with a brush dipped in glaze, so the words melt and flow during the firing process.
Inspired by the world of Ryunosuke Akutagawa's novel of the same name, which depicts people clinging to a spider's thread in search of salvation.
