「陶器を絵画に転用させた作品。
　陶器絵付けの構造【素焼きの生地に染付＋釉薬＋上絵付け】を【パネルにアクリル絵の具彩色＋塩化ビニール(レース)＋レースの上から彩色】から成る表現へと変換させた。まだ手探り状態で実験的ではあるが、今後の新たな表現への種のような作品。
　前提として、「絵画と工芸(主に陶芸)の要素のグラデーション、またそれらの領域のグラデーションの中で新たな価値観で作品を作り出したい」という思いがある。
　自分の制作において純粋な絵画の領域は狭く窮屈に感じることが多い。この感情は今までもずっと存在していたが、はっきりと自覚できていなかったように思う。今一度初心に帰り、創作の姿勢を自覚し、本作で新たなスタートを切る。」

"This is a work in which pottery is converted to painting.

The structure of pottery painting [unglazed base with dyeing + glaze + overglaze paint] was transformed into the expression consisting of [acrylic paint on panel + vinyl chloride (lace) + painting over the lace]. The artist is still exploring and experimenting, but the work is like a seed for new expressions in the future.

As a premise, she wants to “create works with a new sense of value within the gradation of paintings and crafts (mainly ceramics), or within the gradation of these areas”.

She often feels that the realm of pure painting is narrow and cramped in her work. The feeling has always been present in her work, but she doesn't think she was aware of it. Now she has gone back to the basics and realized her creative approach, and make a new start with this work."
