"their territory" / This work is part of an homage series dedicated to Sesshū Tōyō, whose art first inspired me to pursue painting and has profoundly influenced my practice. By layering my own visual language onto Sesshū's works, I explore a space where tradition and the present, admiration and challenge, intersect.

This work is based on the landscape painting Splashed Ink Landscape by Sesshū Tōyō, the artist I admire most.
While paying tribute to Sesshū, I deliberately introduced a touch of humor, reinterpreting his masterpiece through my own artistic perspective.
