Commentary：

Inspired by a poem by Paul Verlaine.

Its figures celebrate life and love, yet seem almost unable to believe in happiness. Dissolving into the gentle glow of moonlight, that sorrowful and beautiful radiance lulls the birds resting among the branches into dreams, while the marble fountains sigh in quiet ecstasy.
