解説：ひとりひとりの中で流れている時間は、それぞれ違う。この砂時計には、落ちて行く砂を見る為のレンズが用意している。しかし、砂は蓋に遮られ、落ちてくることは無い。この作品を見ることで、それぞれの中で流れている時間を観測して見つめ直す。
ドイツに居た時に作っていた作品群の特徴を色濃く残している私の原点的な作品である。

Commentary：

The flow of time is different within each of us.
This hourglass is fitted with a lens through which the falling sand may be observed.
Yet the sand is blocked by a lid and never falls.
By looking at this work, we are invited to observe and reconsider the passage of time that exists within ourselves.

This piece remains deeply rooted in the characteristics of the works I created while staying at Germany, and stands as one of the origins of my artistic practice.
